The Summer Isles are a dream-like group of islands off the Coigach coast of Wester Ross. I have visited them three times from Ullapool. They are also a naturalist's paradise for the wildlife that they harbour.

Mountains, mountains, mountains, headlands, headlands, headlands, islands, islands, islands, beaches, beaches, beaches for miles and miles and miles.
A dream-like, surreal, habitat that captures the mind, the senses, the soul.
Such is the West Coast of Scotland.
Surely, one of the most mesmerising environments in the world.
Heaven on Earth.
Peace and beauty beyond words, beyond description.
My "Shangri-La" and maybe yours, too.
