Diesel unter Strom

            Wenn die direkte Verbindung zwischen Schwandorf und Nürnberg unterbrochen ist, müssen die Einzelwagenzüge aus und nach Schwandorf andere Wege nehmen. So kam es im Juli 2020, dass man täglich eine Class66 beobachten konnte wie sie den EZ 50832 über Regensburg von Schwandorf nach Nürnberg Rbf brachte. Bei Parsberg hatte 247 058 Glück und musste nicht in die Überholung einfahren. Aus fotografischer Sicht passend befanden sich direkt hinter der Zuglok grüne Müllwagen, welche bis Nürnberg Rbf gebracht werden und von dort aus nach Neumarkt in die Müllverladestelle. Auf der Rücktour werden die vollen Müllcontainer dann wieder nach Schwandorf gebracht zur dortigen Müllverbrennungsanlage.

When the direct route between Schwandorf and Nuremberg is disconnected because of construction works, trains have to go a detour. So it was possible to catch a class 66 with the daily mixed freight train EZ 50832 between Regensburg and Nuremberg. Near Parsberg 247 058 was not passed by other faster trains and hurried north. The green containers on the first waggons are for waste Transport. These get filled with waste before they go back to Schwandorf where a refuse inceration plant is located.
