Abfahrt nach Sonnenuntergang - a photo on Flickriver

            Anfang Februar 2015 war ich in der Nähe von Waldershof unterwegs. Das Wetter war traumhaft, aber sehr kalt. Gegen Nachmittag sollten zwei Güterzüge Richtung Nürnberg auftauchen. Ohne Sichtungsgruppe und Sichtungen war das ganze ein sehr monotones Unterfangen. Alle Stunde rollte der Nahverkehr, aber die beiden Züge wollten nicht auftauchen.
Nach Sonnenuntergang wurde es nochmals wesentlich kälter und auf der Brücke über die Bahnstrecke Hof - Nürnberg mit dem eiskalten Wind sehr ungemütlich - trotzdem entschied ich erstmal zu bleiben. Und wie verhext - Sonne weg - Zug im Zulauf. Nachdem der Autozug kurz nach Sonnenuntergang mit einer Latz-Ludmilla gen Westen rollte, tauchte auch 232 618 mit dem gemischten Güterzug aus Tschechien auf. Beim Einsetzen der blauen Stunde zog die Ludmilla ihren Zug gen Nürnberg Rbf. Im Hintergrund bremst gerade ein agilis Triebwagen zum Halt in Waldershof. 232 618 erstrahlt mittlerweile wieder im alten DR Lack und fährt ihre Einsätze nicht mehr von Nürnberg aus, sondern von Halle an der Saale.

Departure after sunset

At the beginning of February 2015 I was photographing near Waldershof. The weather was wonderful, but very cold. Towards the afternoon two freight trains were supposed to show up towards Nuremberg. Without informations and sightings, the whole thing was a very monotonous undertaking. Local passenger trains ran every hour, but the two freight trains wouldn't show up.
After sunset it got much colder again and the ice-cold wind on the bridge over the Hof - Nuremberg railway line made it very uncomfortable - but I still decided to stay. And as if bewitched - the sun is gone - the train is approaching. After the car train rolled west with a "Latz"-Ludmilla shortly after sunset, 232 618 also showed up with the mixed freight train from the Czech Republic. At the beginning of the blue hour, the Ludmilla pulled her train to Nuremberg Rbf. In the background, an Agilis railcar is braking to a stop in Waldershof. 232 618 appears now in the old DR livery and no longer runs from Nuremberg, but from Halle an der Saale.
