Square in the 1st district of Vienna with the Gothic church of Maria am Gestade in the back left and Renaissance townhouses on the right. The name Maria am Gestade (Mary at the Shore) "reflects the former location on the Fluvial terrace of an arm of the Danube river, prior to its regulation." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_am_Gestade
On the left you can see part of a 1950s building, the Concordia-Hof. The previous building had been completely destroyed during the war.
