Seeds of a nomura maple tree waiting for the time of departure

            Nomura maple trees (Acer palmatum Thunb. var. amoenum Ohwi cv. Sanguineum) have reddish leaves even in spring.  Photo was taken in my garden in Nagoya, Japan.
