Little acorn - a photo on Flickriver

Little acorn

            Whilst walking through the local oak trees on a breezy October day, I could hear the acorns falling all around me, each one plummeting to earth with a gentle thud. The squirrels were having a field day and with each gust of wind more of their bounty would descend.

I treasure these little moments, when you realise that our planet is the gift that keeps on giving. Let us all protect it for future generations.
