            Wientjesvoort Castle

Wientjesvoort Castle was built around 1850.  The castle was named after an inn that stood nearby.

In 1968, a fire destroyed a large part of the castle.  Due to lack of money, it took a long time to restore it.  Repair work was only carried out between 1999 and 2001.

Kasteel Wientjesvoort werd rond 1850 gebouwd.  Het kasteel werd genoemd naar een herberg die er in de buurt heeft gestaan.

In 1968 werd een groot gedeelte van het kasteel verwoest door een brand.  Door geldgebrek duurde het lang voor het werd hersteld.  De herstellingswerken werden pas tussen 1999 en 2001 uitgevoerd.
