Staring Contest.... - a photo on Flickriver

            This portrait is on display at the Sony World Photography Awards at Somerset House, London.

This is Hasuin (25) from Karbala. He had started therapy at Al-Atoa hospital, having been in prison for two years, where he had started to smoke crystal meth. Hasuin was forced to enter rehab, even though he didn’t think it was  necessary for him. His  body is covered with scars made by him because of his dependency  on meth.
