            The Castle of the Moors (Castelo dos Mouros), Sintra. Built by the Muslims in the 8th and 9th centuries, the castle was taken by the Christian forces after the fall of Lisbon in 1147 and served as a strategic point during Reconquista [May 13, 2015].
