The last generation of Potters of Dhamrai.

            Once he was a master potter. Now he spends his day sitting under the cruel Sun, shirtless. I noticed that the male potters while working under heat and humidity doesn’t care much for covering their torso and so the upper body is burnt since Bangladesh straddles on the Tropic of Cancer. The potters work under the most unfriendly circumstances not only weather wise. Slowly this profession is taking a bow and many potters are going into other professions because this does not pay. They are the unsung heroes of our society.
