Hike: Steps

            When I was a child I used to spend a lot of my time walking. Walking in town. Walking to my friend, then walking around town and then through the veld and nature. 
Recently I have walked at times when I hunt, quite a lot too. 
But this was my first official "hike" that I did on a Hiking trail. 

This house is right at the beginning of the trail right after you leave the entrance/restaurant area. 
What a nice experience. It is not the best of trails, but it was so worth it. My only complain and regret is that I did not start it sooner. 
What makes this walk different is that I had my camera with me. We were also taking out 7 kids my 2 daughters and a couple of friends of there for a day out. 
I had to really capture things fast though because they were really doing the walking thing very fast. I was behind all the time, looking at nature and trying to capture some photos. 

I will have to learn to capture landscapes and field photos. Something that I always wanted to do, but doe not have a lot of experience in. 

I have uploaded a few of the many photos that I took for myself. Hope you enjoy one of them.
