Rome - Church of St. Ignatius Loyola

            Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola on the Field of Mars was built for the Jesuit order. At the end of the 17th century, it was thoroughly rebuilt. It is admired mainly for the fresco of the vault; the famous quadrature from 1685 by Jesuit Andrea del Pozzo and a fresco resembling a dome vault.

Kościół św. Ignacego Loyoli na Polu Marsowym był zbudowany dla zakonu jezuitów. Pod koniec XVII wieku został gruntownie przebudowany. Podziwiany jest głównie ze względu na fresk sklepienia;  słynna kwadratura z 1685 roku jezuity Andrei del Pozzo oraz fresk przypominający sklepienie kopuły.
