Great Egret (Grande Aigrette) - a photo on Flickriver

This beautiful Egret was doing its thing and looking for a bite when a Canada goose decided that this stretch of marsh was too small for everyone.  It chased the poor egret a few times away.  A few good photo opportunities for me.

Cette splendide grande aigrette était occupée à fouiller son coin de marais pour un petit quelque chose à se mettre dans le gosier quand une Bernache a décidé que ce coin de marais était trop petit pour tout le monde.  Elle a agressivement pourchassé l'aigrette plusieurs fois jusqu'à ce qu'elle quitte cette section.  Quelques bonnes occasions de photo pour moi!
