Ciri, Templo de la Concordia. Valle de los Templos Agrigento (Sicilia)

Patrimonio de la Unesco. Sus templos dóricos son de los más importantes testimonios de la cultura griega. El Templo de la Concordia s. V A. C es el más antiguo de Akragos.
Akragos derroto a los cartagineses en la batalla de Himera año 480 a.C. Posteriormente, 60 años más tarde Cartago destruyó la ciudad. Dos siglos después la ciudad es conquistada por los romanos, que la rebautizaron con el nombre de Agrigentum, dándole una nueva época de esplendor.
