River Thames from Blackfriars Bridge - 1962

            View looking up river to Waterloo Bridge. The ships moored by the Victoria Embankment are from furthest   'SS Discovery', 'HQS Wellington', 'HMS Chrysanthemum' and 'HMS President' nearest. At that time I worked at 'Electra House' the prominent building amongst the trees towards the right. Electra House is in Temple Place, R.F. Scott's famous ship SS Discovery was moored at Temple Pier, a handy venue for some fresh air at lunch time!
