At Take Off - a photo on Flickriver

At Take Off

            A group of common mergansers suddenly ramp into take off mode - they circled around and came back to the same spot.  Was it a squabble over a female, in need of a flight stretch, or something startled them - unsure, but my guess was a mating dispute.
