BEYOND THE WINDOW

Beyond the window
in this ancient house
that smelly spring
of vanilla flowers
which saw your appearance
purple in the purple
now it is back
Among the camellias and hydrangeas
you are there too
but we no longer are the same
Become frail and bloodless
this overwhelming wave of life
shakes us and leaves exhausted
now inhabitants of the penumbra
