Midnight Delight - a photo on Flickriver

Midnight Delight

            Have been waiting for a night with low wind and low fog at the GG bridge to experience a shot of water reflection and surreal soft fog. Low wind was forecast tonight but fog condition was uncertain. Nevertheless, I decided to take chances for the photography outing whether there was fog or not. LOVE this Golden Gate Bridge though thousands perhaps millions shots have been taken around it. I was totally alone there to watch the calm water and the soft bridal-veil-like fog. This scene encompassed everything I felt at that moment, peace, a sense of calm, contentment in the moment, and the beauty that it possessed. Both feeling the ocean breeze in a summer night and touching the salty mist are unique to me while shooting. The scene unfolded right before my eyes begged to be captured. It was as if I was chosen to witness a wild show of God's creation to not only bask in myself, but also let others take in as well.
