Robin. - a photo on Flickriver

Robin.

            I have named her Darcey (Bussell) because of the cluster of feathers on her lower back, these reminded me of a bustle on ladies clothing, and she is a prima donna of the Robin world.

 Although taken last year. I first saw her in 2020 as part of a breeding pair, I have also seen her this year which would make her at least three years old.

After the breeding season and her moult, these feathers return almost to normal, whereby she is only distinguishable by a small hump on her lower back.
