Embracing Winter.

            I remember being a kid and hearing adults always say "..don't worry summer is coming.." and thinking 'what's wrong with winter?'  Winter was a fun time to be a kid.  Always lots to do - and we usually finished the day exhausted.  Now as an adult, winter isn't quite so much fun anymore, and it seems to take that extra bit of effort to get out in the snow.  But, every once and a while you'll see something, like the 'perfect' sliding hill, and feel that surge of anticipation as that kid in us rises to the surface. 

Last day of Winterlude in Ottawa today.  Something which makes winter just a little more bearable, for us adults anyway.
