Une partie de billard avant de prendre un taxi de brousse

            Antsirabé (Madagascar) - Cette photo a été prise dans ce qui était en 2016 un petit bidonville près du centre-ville. En 2020, il avait été transformé en « gare routière » pour taxis de brousse. « Gare routière » est un bien grand mot car les autorités locales se sont contentées de raser le centre du bidonville sur un hectare, laissant les taxis se garer de façon anarchique sur ce qui est devenu un vulgaire terrain vague.
Seuls les petits restaurant installés sur le pourtour du terrain vague ont été épargnés. Sur cette photo le billard a été installé devant un… restaurant. On devine la cuisine sur la gauche derrière le jeune homme à la casquette. Moi, je n’ai pas de recul. Je suis adossé à la carrosserie d’un taxi de brousse.

Antsirabé (Madagascar) - This photo was taken in what was in 2016 a small slum. In 2020, it had been transformed into a “bus station” for bush taxis. "Bus station" is a big word because the local authorities contented themselves with razing the center of the shanty town on one hectare, leaving taxis to park in an anarchic manner on what has become a vulgar wasteland.
Only the small restaurants set up around the perimeter of the vacant lot were spared. In this photo the billiard table has been installed in front of a… restaurant. We can guess the kitchen on the left behind the young man with the cap. Me, I have no hindsight. I am leaning against a bush taxi.
