Echange standard

            Old-Delhi (Inde) - Boîtes de vitesses et bloc-moteurs en vrac chez ce revendeur du quartier musulman de la moquée Jama Masjid. Si ces pièces sont en vente, j’en déduis qu’elles pourront un jour fonctionner de nouveau. N’étant pas mécanicien et étant juste capable de faire une vidange, il ne s’agit pour moi qu’un tas de ferraille. Je sais que des spécialistes y verront autre chose. En tout cas, il y a un marché pour ces pièces d’occasion car une dizaine de commerce du même styles ont pignon sur rue au même endroit.

Olde-Delhi (India) - Gearboxes and engine blocks in bulk at this dealer in the Muslim quarter of the Jama Masjid mosque. If these parts are for sale, I assume that they will one day be able to work again. Not being a mechanic and just being able to do an oil change, for me it is just a pile of scrap metal. I know that specialists will see something else there. In any case, there is a market for these second-hand pieces because a dozen shops of the same style have a storefront in the neighborhood.
