            Le pigeonnier est l’une des six fabriques consacrées aux activités agricoles. La bâtisse et son poulailler accueillent plusieurs couples de pigeons, poules pondeuses, coqs et poulets spécialement choisis par la Reine, sans oublier la personne en charge des volatiles dont le logement se trouve au rez-de-chaussée. Comme chaque bâtiment du Hameau, le pigeonnier dispose d’un jardin potager. Artichauts, choux-fleurs, haricots verts, haricots noirs et petits pois y sont cultivés dans le cadre d’expérimentations horticoles.
