Summer Flavor…😋 - a photo on Flickriver

            Even if the picture is shocking - hanging squids on a line is completely normal in Greece, for example.
The sea creatures are supposed to dry in the Sun, which makes their flesh softer.
Fried octopus is a popular delicacy in all Mediterranean countries.
In Greece it is often served with ouzo as a meze (starter)
The squids are left to dry on a clothesline in the sun for about 1 to 2 days.
Then there are different ways of preparing it.

Auch wenn das Bild schockiert – Tintenfische an einer Leine aufzuhängen ist beispielsweise in Griechenland völlig normal. 
Die Meerestiere sollen an der Sonne trocknen, wodurch ihr Fleisch weicher wird.
Gebratener Oktopus ist in allen mediterranen Ländern eine beliebte Delikatesse. 
In Griechenland wird er gerne mit Ouzo als Meze (Vorspeise) gereicht.
Die Tintenfische werden auf einer Wäscheleine etwa 1 bis 2 Tage in der Sonne zum trocknen gelassen.
Danach gibt es verschiedene Zubereitungsvarianten.
