Aurora Borealis, Aberkenfig, South Wales 10th May 2024

            So fortunate to have clear a clear sky to capture a very rare and wonderful display at our latitude. it was way back in November 1991 that I last witnessed a such an impressive show here in Wales.

Facing north northeast, taken with a low exposure time to avoid washing out and to capture the detail then saved in .raw format.
Processed with Adobe Lightroom to adjust levels and bring out the structure. Image size reduced and converted to .jpg.
