Statue de Georges Clemenceau - a photo on Flickriver

            La statue de Clemenceau est l’œuvre du sculpteur François Cogné (1876-1952). Elle a été inaugurée en 1932 par le président Edouard Herriot, à l’angle de l’avenue Winston Churchill et de l’avenue des Champs-Élysées à côté du Petit Palais .Les évènements de la guerre de 1914-1918 lui amenèrent les surnoms de « Tigre » et « Père la Victoire »
