            Every toy and hobby company has started design work and development of new products that never make it into production.  Despite the fact that some of these new items are announced at industry trade shows, appear in consumer advertising and even show up on the packaging of other items in the line, disappointing initial orders and other factors can kill the proposed product before it reaches the retail shelves.

Aquariums were another way Revell hoped to broaden the plastic kit market.  Even the science aspect of the frog kit couldn’t get these two models into production.
