            The Waterschei mine was the very first coal mine in Limburg, Belgium (1924). It was closed in 1987.
Today the colliery’s main building is a real eye-catcher. Now called Thor Central, it is a hotspot of technology, energy and innovation. It's the ideal place for a meeting or conference.
The site is developed according to a high-quality concept in the field of architecture, environmental quality, sustainability and park management.
The Partaasch restaurant is a fine example of this.
