            Out with the ELCC Mid-week Marauders last Wednesday!

Dozens of smaller birds can be found in the trees, on the ground, in the water, and in the air at the WMA.  Here an attractive Spotted Towhee sifts the organic matter on the woodland floor dropped from the canopy for tasty bits.  It seems she and the other sparrow and thrushes in this area are successful as like the cranes and geese at Bernardo, all the birdlife seems well fed!
