            Midsummer and enjoying the Quiet just before Sunrise as the bush slowly stirs to life. The Stillness was awesome. Suddenly 50 metres ahead of me off the road i heard the unmistakable alarm call of an Impala Ram...Silence then again but this time a Chorus of loud Francolin and Partridge joined in..Something disturbed them. I sat in my vehicle in total silence Engine off obviously. Then the Impala Herd came into view as they stampeded across the road from Right to left ahead of me. I was the only vehicle there so I had parked the vehicle side on and put the camera on a Bean bag waiting for action . Silence again and then there she was out in the road a young Female leopard 60 metres in front of me. She just kept on walking towards my silent truck ..I let her come and at 30 metres I took this image just as the sunrise was happening and the Shadows were very very light in Golden Dawn light. Just me and a magnificent African Predator spending time together. What a Privalege
