Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire, The Knot Garden.

            Behind are the remains of the once royal apartments of Catherine Parr and the great banqueting hall built by Richard III, destroyed in two disastrous  sieges in the Civil War and its later 'slighting' to make the castle  uninhabitable.
