I used to whine whenever we went anywhere because of all the things we had to take with us. A simple trip to the beach for a few hours with two kids under three meant trekking back and forth over the dunes with a playpen, a diaper bag, toys, food, water, sunscreen, lotion, towels, umbrellas, blankets, the ice chest loaded with drinks and ice, lawn chairs, the radio, inflatables, life jackets, snacks, picnic plates and cups, tablecloth, water, and of course, babies.

And I'm positive I'm leaving out some very important things we also needed. Jo Ann would have reminded me of at least ten more things we needed. You know.. Just in case.. Just in case what? In case we get trapped on the beach for three days?? 

If this meadowlark wants to go to the beach, she simply flies there.. Maybe that's where she's going now.
