1116 081-1 ÖBB I Vierkirchen (17452)

            Manchmal liegen Glück und Pech sehr nahe beieinander. Am 1. August des vergangenen Jahres war eine Doppeltraktion von zwei Lokomotiven der Baureihe 151 in ozeanblau-beige und blau mit einem Güterzug auf dem Weg nach München vorgemeldet. Trotz des herannahenden Unwetters wurde ein kurzer Trip an die Strecke bei Vierkirchen (KBS 900) gewagt. Pünktlich zur anvisierten 151er Doppeltraktion schüttete es aus Kübeln und an ein Bild an diesem Tag war (generell) nicht zu denken. Einige Minuten später, pitschnass und latent frustriert sprang das Signal erneut auf grün, ein Sonnenloch tat sich auf und dieser ÖBB Taurus (1116 081-1) konnte mit einem Kesselwagenzug in Richtung Süden fotografiert werden.

Sometimes luck and bad luck are very close to each other. On 1st August 2023, a double traction of two Class 151 locomotives in ocean blue-beige and blue with a freight train on its way to Munich was pre-reported. Despite the approaching storm, a short trip to Vierkirchen (KBS 900) was ventured. Just in time for the planned 151 double traction, it was raining cats and dogs and a picture on this day was (generally) out of the question. A few minutes later, soaking wet and latently frustrated, the signal turned green again, a hole in the dark clouds opened up and this ÖBB Taurus (1116 081-1) could be photographed hauling a southbound tank car train.
