(Panel 9) Free at Last! The ride of shame.

            Made it to the blacktop in the rain, covered in mud, my hair is matted, my glasses are mucked up, but the boots helped, the gloves are covered in slime.

Gertrude will need a serious hosing later.  Clots of mud fall away from the fender and wheel. I can't get dressed while in covered in this muck, I'll have to ride careful and slow-- naked in the rain.  

Yup, can we spell M*I*S*E*R*Y coming up?  maybe I should go back to the gas station, I did see a bed and breakfast sign for the Norman Bates' House at the intersection. It is kinda remote and I haven't seen a car for hours, so rescue in the near future is unlikely. 

If I get in trouble again, I could get permanently stuck. 

OH! And there is my ID! Other knife!  

The rain builds again, I am still hot from exercise, so I will just wash the major part of the mud off in the rain.  

Yeah...  No.

Wolves sound closer.  Time for that naked ride back to town in my humiliation.
