Arriva Yorkshire 'Sapphire' 1505 - YJ59 BTZ

            A great day for photography in general was had on the 22nd of June, as I took the camera out in York for both bus spotting and a river cruise under the summer sun. With this photo, I aimed to not only capture the Arriva Yorkshire bus here, but also the surroundings of the Clifford's Tower area under the sun - unfortunately, roadworks have slightly spoiled that view.

Taken from the ridge leading up to Clifford's Tower - although to the point of passing the signs warning against stepping on the grass - Arriva Yorkshire's 'Sapphire' 415-branded 1505, a lowheight  Wright Gemini 2, passes by Clifford's Tower on its way out of York bound for Selby via the Designer outlet. It passes by a First York Park & Ride Mercedes-Benz Citaro G that I did not catch the fleet number of.
