Stagecoach in Fife 18020 - SF53 BYU - a photo on Flickriver

            Ah, another contestant for Stagecoach not knowing how to sticker up their own liveries correctly. Once upon a time, this was an A1 Service bus, and following being painted out of that livery, it was put into the standard Stagecoach livery with a white-on-blue logo on the front panel, standard of all Stagecoach ALX400s and still commonly seen around Hull today. At some point, however, this one had another repaint, and it seems Stagecoach have dropped this logotype as it now bears a blue text logo in the white section of the front panel, also bearing fleet numbers in Helvetica Bold instead of Gill Sans. And if you want my word for it, it doesn't look right at all. It's... just wrong on so many levels.

Taken during last year's trip north of the border to Edinburgh,  Stagecoach in Fife's 18020, a 2003 Alexander ALX400 once new in A1 Service livery and still bearing a flipdot display, heads into Edinburgh coach station from Princes Street routed for the X55 from Dunfermline via the Ferrytoll Park & Ride. Forgive me for the bad framing - it was more than a year ago and I hadn't got my head around framing photos perfectly yet.
