[PRESERVED] Pennine Motor Services D15 - R717 YWC

            Ah, Pennine Motor Service, another one of those dearly-departed independents that were big with the enthusiasts. From 1925, Pennine ran in some form with a fleet of orange and black buses in the Craven region of North Yorkshire, however meeting their untimely demise due to - guess what! - financial issues in May 2014. At the time, they operated a fleet of 14, most of which seemed to be in the form of Dennis Darts, and one is preserved as such in the livery of the company it left behind. Such a shame, really. And again, there's more victims actively out there now.

A former London bus preserved from when it was operated in the far reaches of North Yorkshire, preserved Pennine Motor Services D15, a 1997 Plaxton Pointer step-entrance bodied Dennis Dart new to Stagecoach East London as their PD17, later being numbered 32367 with the operator, is seen on display at the 2023 Big Bus and Truck Show.
