Arriva Yorkshire 1414 - YJ57 BVY - a photo on Flickriver

            A few hours later, my attention turns to Castleford, where in which I recognise that despite having literally photographed a Commander already today, there's a good chance I might be able to catch one of the more native examples that surely will not be long for departing service. I saw this as I dropped off family at Junction 32 before heading to the rally and wished I'd photographed it in the first place, because turning out at 2PM to start waiting for it, I found myself at the mercy of Arriva reliability and had to wait about 20 minutes for it to show up. All was worth it, though, for my first bus photos from Junction 32 since 2018. And of course, when next am I going to be able to photograph one of these?

Seen looking rather down-at-heel compared to some of the other Arriva buses being rallied a few miles down the M62, Arriva Yorkshire's 1414, a 2007 DAF SB200 Wright Commander,  is seen here with a rather hastily-applied paint job coming down Colorado Way on a 186 to Pontefract.
