RATP Dev Transit London OME46001 - YJ70 EVB

            One photo freshly disposed of in the queue, and a year to the day now of taking these photos, we're back for the second haul of photos from the 29th of April 2023! We start off with a real doozy - a TfL-spec MetroDecker EV, the largest and seemingly only market for electric buses of this type outside of York. Allocated to Route 23, RATP's OMEs on this service were, from that day onwards, now terminating at Aldwych as opposed to Hammersmith from Hyde Park Corner onwards, requiring them to display paper destinations on a temporary basis - for some reason, though, this one's proper destination display wasn't working, leading to nothing being shown at all. I'll take it, though, for a first MetroDecker outside of York!

My first of this type, captured under perfect sun despite the destination blinds not working, RATP Dev Transit London's OME46001, a 2020 Optare MetroDecker EV allocated to Westbourne Park garage (X) and new to Tower Transit as their OE34001, is seen on Park Lane on the first day of service on a rerouted 23 to... Aldwych? Is this the right direction for it? Note the LAS Skoda in the background - didn't know there were still some kicking about, gutted I missed that!
