One side of Hilton is OK... - a photo on Flickriver

            My Irish architect friend and I occasionally discuss architecture. Neill is an expert, whereas I'm certainly not.  I remarked that Toronto probably has two of the ugliest street-level hotel façades in the world. Both Sheraton Centre and Hilton Toronto are fine hotels in terms of service, but both hotels' street-level façades and entrances are brutal concrete slabs that are most uninviting.  They look more like a bus terminal or a top-security prison than high-end hotels, unfortunately.

Now when will they get a facelift??
