Well, I'm back from 6 nights/7days in Valencia. Seen many photos of this place on here so I won't claim any unique compositions and certainly didn't have the light/skies that I've seen in many photos. Street / Architectural photography isn't my normal genre but on a city break in Valencia what else am I going to shoot?! Certainly had to think a bit more! This was about the calmest morning we had regarding wind so managed to get a bit of a reflection. I'd certainly have liked an RF 10mm-22/24mm lens for this shot - come on Canon!

This is a 3 shot focus stacked image and I had to play about with the Transform tool in ON1 as at 15mm focal length the vertical in the rear right was anything but!

Those who know me are only too well aware I'm no great fan of 'modern' architecture! However, even a dinosaur like me can appreciate the work of Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava. It's not just the individual buildings that are stunning but the way, from the right angle' they merge into a bigger structure. The Hemisfèric looking like the head of a sea animal, The Science Centre it's body, The Assut d'Or Bridge as it's tail and the L'Agora (CaixaForum) as a wave breaking behind  - simply stunning.

You will definitely be seeing a different genre of photography from me and it's not one I profess to know much about. I'd therefore welcome any constructive comments on compositions, crops etc.
