Directing Blockers 01/05/2020

            In one week I'll be photographing another Windy City Rollers home team bout day! In the spirit of that occasion, this is one of my favorite shots from the entire year I've spent photographing derby; and I got it in the most challenging conditions I shot in all year.

Dark, multicolor lighting made shooting at Fleetwood a challenge, but my trusty little Olympus flash made a big difference. the amazing Aimageddon here yelling prior to the jam beginning, directing her blockers prior to the whistle to start play.
