"Taking a Break"

            These gulls are taking a break from feasting on the millions of salmon that are running up the Puntledge River to spawn at the place they were born. Many of the fish die on this difficult journey, as a result the banks of the river are strewn with many dead and dying fish, which the seabirds take advantage of.
