Thalbrücke | OeBB RBDe 560 "Domino"

            The short branch line from Oensingen to Balsthal, operated by "private" (which in swiss rail language usually means owned not by the state, but by the cantons or communities...) Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn, is served half-hourly by an SBB "Domino" push-pull set. In the picture, the DM is pushing its set back towards Oensingen, where connection is made with SBB IC5 route Lausanne - Zürich HB. The route is leading throug a so called "Klus", which is the designation for Valleys crossing the longtitudinal structure of the Jura mountain chains.
