Haslen GL | AS Nr. 7 - a photo on Flickriver

            After a big landslip in December 2020 destroyed the mountain road between Schwanden and Kies, a replacement service was set up from May over small roads, running half-hourly between Schwanden railway station, a Park-and-Ride station at Nidfurn and Kies and thus replacing both car and public transport. In the lower parts between Nidfurn and Tannenberg, the road is quite good, but still small enough for a MAN NL293/A47 midibus. In the background, Tödi and Clariden, two iconic mountains of Glarnerland, can be seen.
