Richterswil | SBB Re 4/4 II - a photo on Flickriver

            Running through the village of Richterswil, Eurocity 163 "Transalpin" has passed just the first 20 minutes of it's 9.5 hours long journey to Graz. The trainset is made uf of SBB Eurocity cars since 2021, replacing the ÖBB cars used until 2020 except the first class compartment and the restaurant car at the rear of the train. It is pulled by a classical Re 4/4 II engine until buchs, where an ÖBB Taurus will take over the train for the next part of the journey.
