Silo 3 Built 1931 - a photo on Flickriver

Silo 3 Built 1931

            There was a homestead in the 1840’s. This homestead became part of Fort Steilacoom when the military came in response to a massacre. After the military left it became a working farm as part of the insane asylum. The insane asylum has long since closed but the reminents remain. 

Plenty of people have left graffiti and that has been painted over and more has been left on top. Time leaves its marks.
