L'Adele australe, Adela australis est un papillon de la famille des Adelidae.
Envergure : 15 mm
Ces papillons ont des antennes simples atteignant chez certaines 4 fois la longueur du corps, surtout chez les mâles, les femelles ♀ ont les antennes moins longues et plus grosses à leur base.
L’Adèle australe a les ailes antérieures de couleur cuivrée. Elles sont traversées par une ligne blanche, elle même bordée de violet.
L’activité du papillon est diurne, se rencontre également à la lumière la nuit

The Southern Adele, Adela australis is a butterfly of the Adelidae family.

These butterflies have simple antennae, some reaching 4 times the length of the body, especially in males; females ♀ have shorter and larger antennae at their base.
The Southern Adele has copper-colored forewings. They are crossed by a white line, itself bordered in purple.
The activity of the butterfly is diurnal, also found in the light at night
