Seriously with Vic Lawrence Seven. - a photo on Flickriver

            This was a quick, impromptu 3 minutes photo session between the sets. I took some 'serious' snaps, but with these musicians the fun never stops. I love them all and know and respect their craft. They all play in different bands and 'Vic Lawrence 7' get together only few times a year. Saxophonist Toby Hughes was a student of Vic and formed the band as a tribute. Victor Bland (stage name - Lawrence) was favourite music teacher of many and leader of several bands. He died in 2021 at age 87. Also playing that day was 
May Akanuma-sax, Jacqueline Chia- trombone, Kasey Sikora- trumpet, Nathaniel Edgar- piano, Gram Whitty- bass, Leigh Robinson- drums.
