Leftover linoleum - a photo on Flickriver

Leftover linoleum

            Tonto Basin, central Arizona

There used to be a house here. All that's left is the slab and the bits of flooring that are still glued in place. Years of exposure to the heat and weather of the desert have shrunken and curled what remains of the flooring.

This image was made with my K-5 and the Sigma 18-300, one of the last Sigma designs to be released in K-mount. I never grew to like that lens very much and I had it the shortest time of any in my possession. I hope it's happy with its newest owner (it's now moved on to owner number 3!). It would appear that owner number 2 didn't like it much better than I did.
